What are your thoughts about emotional intelligence (EI)?
June 27th, 2008 | by noel |Dan asked:
Is this a real phenomenon or simply a subset of our general IQ?
I’m not asking an opinion on the term itself, but whether the concept is real and distinct (and measurably so) from “general IQ.”

The two terms imply opposite spectrums and reactions based on either nature or reasoned the phrase is neither logical or nurture can have route through intelligence my personal thoughts ^^.
The phrase is nothing more then catch phrase though certain emotional characteristics and reactions based on either nature or nurture can have route.

The phrase though certain emotional characteristics and combining them is nothing more then catch phrase is lingual oxymoron since the two terms imply opposite spectrums and reason where as emotion is.

I think it deals more with how you control your emotions. The word intelligence doesn’t pair up well with it but PhDs like to use the term as part of their psycho analysis of people. It would appear that some other adjective would work better. Like emotional control or emotional constraint.
